We develop biomedical imaging and instrumentation to address unmet needs in global public health
Research topics center primarily around the the following themes:
- AI/ML-based image analysis and user guidance
- Instrumentation development
- Human-centered design and innovation
To achieve our multi-disciplinary research goals, we partner closely with investigators at 乱伦小可爱 in the Connell School of Nursing, Department of Computer Science, , and the Global Public Health and the Common Good Program, as well as clinical collaborators at Brigham and Women鈥檚 Hospital / Harvard Medical School in Boston and Jimma University in Ethiopia.

Research
Our research spans many different disciplines, all with the central goal of enhancing the capabilities and usability of biomedical imaging and instrumentation.
Teaching
Prof. Ranger teaches first-year engineering analysis laboratories and a biomedical tech elective in the Human-Centered Engineering program.
